As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will be responsible for; Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Adobe Asset Share Commons (Sites), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Cloud Manager, Adobe Admin Console. All these tools are used to manage our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, the ‘Digital Library’, which is our Sage branded and customised tool that Sage Marketers use to source all marketing and brand assets.

This role will manage the administration, development, and enhancement of these products to meet stakeholder requirements, plus onboarding new stakeholders/teams as and when identified. Changes should be made as needed, to the custom Sage user interface to support better user experience in Adobe Asset Share Commons (Sites) in line with the Sage brand. Improvements to metadata tagging, foldering and user management in AEM Assets would be applied by this position as required, to ensure users can find the assets they want, quickly.

This role is responsible for answering support questions within agreed SLAs via our Workfront ticketing system. In Cloud Manager deploy code via the pipeline to support new version releases, troubleshoot code errors in the pipeline, and deploy more complex development asks identified from key stakeholders. All projects related to these tools will need to be agreed with this role, and will be liable for measuring the progress of these projects, and supervising any support needed e.g. from Consultants.

This function is accountable for innovation and design recommendations to bring the Digital Library to the next level, and support in pilots or any add on products e.g. Adobes Dynamic Media. This role is an advocate, and champion for the Digital Library, and will drive their vision for the future of the tool at Sage. This role will set goals for the roadmap for the next years, on how it will progress in supporting key stakeholder requirements. As new releases and enhancements are deployed by Adobe, this role will be accountable for ensuring these changes go live, and handling the change management, communications, and ensuring that users are enabled to get the most out of the tool. The creation and maintenance of integrations with other technologies to support efficiencies and automation to achieve a best-in-class Digital Asset Management tool, is also a key element to the success of this position.

Being in a team that manages other MarTech, e.g. Adobe Workfront, and Adobe Fusion, part of the role will also include being a support for these technologies too.

As a manager in the team, you will need to motivate, coach and direct more junior members of the team, and be a mentor to them

Key Responsibilities

  • UI and UX enhancements in line with Sage brand and stakeholder requirements
    • Identification of user experience and user interface improvements, through analysis and/or stakeholder feedback. Hands on updating of these improvements into the Digital library website using HTML, CSS, and/or Adobe Sites/Asset Share Commons experience
  • Creating/developing new, or supporting any existing integrations with Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Adobe Asset Share Commons (Sites), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Cloud Manager, Adobe Admin Console
    • Detailed analysis of any integration requirements through stakeholder research, and technical research of the integration technologies themselves. Delivering the integrations where technically possible with existing skills sets within the team, or leveraging external consultant support where skills not inside the team.
  • Roadmap creation for AEM Assets and ‘Digital Library’ (Sites)
    • Updating roadmap documents on an ongoing basis to show latest delivery of items, and potential deliveries as an when identified in following quarters.
  • Delivering a best-in-class DAM
    • Research into best-in-class DAM tools, and review of our existing tool functionality to ensure we are leveraging it to the most of its potential, with stakeholder requirements at the forefront. Making the most of automation and AI where available to create efficiency and productivity.
  • Stakeholder onboarding and user management for Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Adobe Asset Share Commons (Sites), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Cloud Manager, Adobe Admin Console
    • Add individual users where required, provisioning relevant permissions and manage SSO integration and users group permissions on mass
  • Support ticket management, and troubleshooting within agreed SLAs for all tools listed
    • Answer and resolve any submitted support tickets for all tools related to the DAM
  • New version release management via pipeline in Cloud Manager for Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Adobe Asset Share Commons (Sites)
    • Run the Cloud Manager pipeline to release latest versions, and trouble shoot errors to resolution, working independently, or using Adobe support, or our DAM support partner where appropriate
  • Support Ticket management for other Martech in the team eg Adobe Workfront and Adobe Fusion
    • Answer and resolve submitted support tickets for any other MarTech in the team in agreed SLAs
