Our Global Marketing Operations team sits within Specsavers Creative, Specsavers own in-house agency, and consists of Agency Operations, Group Marketing System Operations, Integrated Production, and the Production Studio. We help create the work that makes Specsavers famous, so we’re kind of a big deal. We aim to be the linchpin of Specsavers Creative, pulling and pushing our many different levers to make great work happen. We’re undergoing a review of our marketing ecosystem of tools, so we’re looking for a Marketing Systems Lead to come in and help develop how we use the tools, align best practices, and drive user engagement. This is an exciting opportunity where you can really take ownership of our marketing systems, and work with our various global teams to learn how each of the markets work while building those all-important connections with colleagues around the globe.
You’ll oversee and optimise the creative marketing technology stack within the business, where your primary focus will be project management tools, creative automation capabilities, and digital asset management systems. You’ll work closely with marketing teams worldwide to ensure that these systems are effectively used to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive successful marketing campaigns around the world. You’ll be open to the variety of ways of working across the different markets, knowing that it’s not a ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to system use and implementation. Our ways of working shouldn’t be pressured to fit the systems, the systems should align with our ways of working.
It's a niche role with specific criteria, so we really need someone who ticks all the boxes. You’ll have extensive knowledge and experience in marketing and content management systems, particularly Workfront (and preferably Bynder or similar DAM platform), with good awareness of marketing and creative production processes so you know how to meet our needs. You’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills with the courage to confidently handle difficult conversations and be flexible to work outside of ‘standard hours’ to speak with colleagues in different time zones when needed. You’ll have a good commercial focus to be able to build a roadmap that is fit for future, so if you have experience of working in a large complex organisation (preferably global/multi-regional) this would be hugely beneficial. This role is remote so you can work from anywhere within the UK, Guernsey, or Northern Europe. We do ask that you are able and willing to travel to Guernsey and Southampton (UK) on occasions when needed for essential team collaboration.
