Why We Need You:

We’re looking for a Manager, Studio and Production to join our Article Marketing Team. As an integral part of our in-house team, you will work closely with our Stylists, Photography & Video Manager, Photographers, Videographers, Warehouse, and other members of our Creative and Marketing teams to identify, create, manage, and maintain a high-functioning and efficient creative production studio.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain schedules, workflows of the Photo/Video studio, shot lists, casting, and call sheets for Marketing Campaign and on-location productions
  • Lead the studio team in their execution of in-studio and on-location productions
  • Develop, maintain, and improve reporting tools and dashboards for all work flowing in and out of the studio
  • Work with studio and production teams to assess capacity and resource needs identifying gaps and opportunities; bring forward recommendations to senior management
  • Place, coordinate, and track product orders for photo/video shoots, communicating with internal teams regarding status changes, actions required and providing updates
  • Work closely with our Warehouse and Product/Sourcing partners to ensure all photo/video swatches, and products have arrived and are ready to be shot, flagging any risks and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Maintain studio inventory, conduct audits, and coordinate orders for equipment, maintenance supplies, and rentals. Work with Senior Manager, Marketing Operations an annual list of equipment that requires replacement in advance of annual operational and budget planning  
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to coordinate all studio organization, maintenance, and cleaning
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations to implement DAM taxonomy, metadata schema, and file conventions
  • Enhance processes to automate metadata entry for assets in DAM, ensuring searchability and permissions
  • Perform audits to maintain user access to updated assets, manage portals for internal and external DAM clients
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on digital asset management practices
Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of production experience with a deep understanding of creative production processes  (specific to photo, video, and eCommerce is preferred)
  • 2+ years of Digital Asset Management experience
  • Proficiency in project management software (experience with Wrike is advantageous)
  • Strong Google Suite skills (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive)
  • Extensive experience in creating process documentation and managing schedules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of a Class 5 driver’s license
  • Knowledge of photo and video equipment is beneficial
  • Completion of a Criminal Background check
  • Legally able to work in Canada
