In this role you’ll lead the overall strategy and workflow of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, through Widen. A successful Manager, Digital Asset Strategy & Execution, will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the delivery, cataloguing, protection, and archiving standards of our global organization’s digital assets.

- Own day-to-day operations of a global enterprise-level digital asset management system including ingesting, organizing, asset maintenance and management, as well as associated troubleshooting of all global assets in multiple languages
- Set-up, administer, and provide quality control and continual optimization of our asset management processes and digital asset management system
- Implement taxonomy, vocabulary and metadata management strategies following industry best practices
- Develop and implement workflows and training manuals for asset ingestion, categorization, naming conventions, permissions management, usage agreements, versioning, delivery, expiration to both internal and external users
- Work with cross-functional teams such as creatives, marketing managers, brand managers, developers, business stakeholders and other partners to ensure accessibility, organization, implementation/streamlining of processes/efficiencies, and development/security of brand compliancy related to all global assets
- Responsible for vendor and IT partnership/relationship regarding our digital asset management system
- Work within project management systems to track progress of asset creation and communicate with diverse teams on the status of assets
- Facilitate growth of the digital asset management library through improved search efficiency, overall functionality as well as any new tech implementations that will help improve workflows across all departments/users
- Perform digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, such as digital archiving and asset expiration
- Provide system training for various levels of users on how to upload, tag, view and download assets from the digital asset management system
- Bachelor’s degree in information science, communications technology, graphic design or related field (or equivalent experience in the field)
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems (Widen experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with project management tools such as Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana or related program
- Experience with file transfer and cloud solutions such as Frame.io, Signiant etc.
- Proven knowledge of various file formats (print, digital, video), media usage rights terminology, and industry best practices
- Experience and clear understanding of metadata structures and best practices, taxonomy development, file-naming conventions, database reporting, Digital Asset Management governance, and rights management
- Excellent communicator: both written and spoken
- Flawless organization skills with an exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven capability of meeting tight deadlines
- Design background a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Spanish fluency a plus
