The purpose of this job is to facilitate and support the Digital Assets Department, enterprise web & mobile platforms, catalog production, and other company marketing tactics by ensuring all department and company standards and processes are met while providing a strong technical support for the DAM-Ecosystem at the direction of the Digital Assets Manager

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Assist the Digital Assets Manager in coordinating day-to-day department operations and staff.
  • Assists in implementation of training new hires within the department and help facilitate the on-boarding and training of Enterprise Users & External Users into the DAM.
  • Responsible for the execution of technical modifications (as needed) within all enterprise websites and operational platforms.
  • Responsible for maintaining and processing inquiries to facilitate catalogs, marketing and design needs.
  • Facilitates the process and ability to edit multi-media assets through the DAM including but not limited to images, graphics, logos, videos, etc…
  • Performs global audits of enterprise websites to ensure all published assets are accurately displaying as intended and troubleshoots when needed.
  • Routinely help maintain the health of the DAM by assisting the manager in executing changes within the DAM Ecosystem, department processes and user on-boarding and troubleshooting.
  • Creates or optimizes current technical configurations that includes but not limited to SQL scripts, PSD actions, templates and others.
  • Assist in the facilitation of monitoring a schedule of custom photography/videography performed by both internal Creative Teams and external channels.
  • Assists Manager in any high visibility company projects
  • Additional duties as assigned.
To join our band, you’ll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience) is required, preferably in Photojournalism, Media Technology, Digital Media Arts, or related field.
  • years of relevant experience working in a production editing and/or production image processing capacity (in addition to degree or years of previous experience), preferably in the musical instruments industry but not required.
  • 4 years of experience with Digital Assets Management with direct hands-on knowledge in its core operational functions.
  • 1-2 years in a lead or key holder position is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency using the latest version Adobe Photoshop (Mac-based)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Illustrator & InDesign
  • Skilled proficiency working with MAC hardware in a commercial setting, to include color correction, image resizing, and clipping path features
  • Skilled understanding of RGB and CMYK color spaces and the basic issues of process color separations for print and RGB continuous tone for Web & Mobile with direct knowledge in color calibration of industry tools.
  • Intermediate understanding of line art and raster file formats and of the issues associated with their optimal use in print and Web presentation.
  • Basic understanding of Apple Final Cut software or other industry video editing software.
  • Basic understanding of industry Audio editing software.
  • Intermediate understanding of SQL
  • Basic understanding and previous experience working with a PIM System.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in Adobe Scene 7, FileMaker Pro 15, Extensis Portfolio & Intuit Quickbase preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge in ATG, JBS, DAX & JDA Systems preferred, but not required.

  • Technology Skills: Able to identify, navigate and learn new technology systems, equipment, and computer programs needed to fulfill project management, communication, customer service, and business needs and expectations.
