Junior Digital Asset Management Librarian

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Digital Asset Management Librarian to join our dynamic team. As a Jr. Digital Asset Management Librarian, you will play a crucial role in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining our digital media assets. You will be responsible for managing a comprehensive digital asset management system to ensure efficient retrieval and distribution of digital content.

Responsibilities:

• Digital Asset Organization:
• Develop and implement strategies for the organization and classification of digital assets.
• Catalog, tag, and metadata creation for all digital files to facilitate easy search and retrieval.
• Digital Asset Management System Administration:
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a robust digital asset management system.
• Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure the system meets organizational needs.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of digital asset metadata.
• Monitor file formats, resolutions, and quality standards to maintain consistency.
• User Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to staff members on how to use the digital asset management system.
• Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to digital assets.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and IT, to understand their digital asset needs.
• Facilitate communication and coordinate workflows to streamline the use of digital assets across departments.
• Metadata Standards and Best Practices:
• Stay current on metadata standards and best practices in digital asset management.
• Ensure that metadata conforms to established standards for interoperability and future-proofing.

Qualifications:

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field preferred.
• Some experience in digital asset management, library sciences, or a related field.
• Familiarity with digital asset management systems and related software.
• Strong understanding of metadata standards and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of copyright issues and digital rights management.
