Graphics Process Manager

This Manager role within the iPR (Innovation and Productivity realization office, or PMO) Canada team reports tthe Senior Manager of the iPRExpert Hub. This position is part of a global team at Danone, focused on optimizing the graphics chain process for packaging across physical and digital platforms. The primary goal of the GCM is tenhance digital maturity and the packaging ecosystem through connectivity and automation, aiming timprove quality, efficiency, compliance, and time tmarket for Danone products.

Responsibilities:

1. Partner with Global Team and North American (NORAM) Team:

  • Represent Canada as a key partner, collaborating with related divisions tenhance systems, tools, and workflows in alignment with Design-to-Print (D2P) goals and KPI targets.
  • Advocate for local business needs within global and regional plans for process and workflow enhancements.
  • Participate in global and regional system testing to validate updates before launch.
  • Provide technical information and local system data support tglobal teams.
2. Implement and Govern Local D2P Model:

  • Obtain local stakeholder alignment on new process changes and procedural requirements.
  • Identify system limitations and communicate unique local business needs tthe global team.
  • Serve as a system admin "super user" and technical advisor, offering user support.
  • Onboard, train, and manage system users while coordinating process and technical documentation efforts with global initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence tglobal 1D2P principles (Danone and Premedia agency) while supporting Canadian teams with D2P procedure implementation.
  • Act as D2P Manager within the iPRProject governance structure to consolidate and sequence the graphics development work across brands and formats.
3. Leverage KPIs for Change Management:

  • Utilize KPIs tidentify and communicate opportunities for process and workflow enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership tdrive change management initiatives and achieve KPI targets.
  • Establish clear stakeholder accountability, accurate forecasts with predictable timelines, and ensure regulatory compliance.
4. Technical and Process Advisor tPremedia Agency:

  • Monitor and regulate the premedia agency's tool usage tensure alignment with established Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and implement preventative changes as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for system usage.
5. Manage Digital Asset Manager:

  • Support stakeholders with local utilization of the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system, including onboarding, training, and asset location assistance.
  • Facilitate the migration of current brand guideline assets and additional assets from legacy systems.
6. Technical and Process Advisor tBrand Design Team:

  • Establish new processes, standards, and training as required for graphics chain systems.
  • Coordinate testing of new technical solutions, such as digitized guidelines, tenhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Improve Printed Packaging Development Chain:

  • Take responsibility for improving the entire printed packaging development chain, from ideation tdelivery at the manufacturing facility.
  • Optimize relationships and lead times for design agencies tensure efficient collaboration.
  • Reduce additional costs and lead times for packaging suppliers as they prepare printing technology.
  • Drive initiatives tenhance agility in printed packaging development, ensuring a streamlined process and timely delivery.
Qualifications & Skills :
 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or other relevant fields.
  • Languages: English (required), French (asset)
  • Experience in building processes from the ground up and managing complex processes, preferably within a packaging or digital platform environment.
  • Strong technical skills in graphics chain systems, digital asset management, and premedia tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, implementation and governance of processes, leveraging KPIs for change management, and providing technical support.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills; ability tadapt tnew processes and drive efficiency and effectiveness.
