The Global Head of Digital Marketing will lead the strategic implementation of Global Brand campaigns. The successful candidate will act as the organisations digital marketing lead to create digital marketing experiences across all channels to help shape and build our digital brand, channel, and income.
This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will strategically design the digital marketing strategy in line with the global campaign and brand priorities, overseeing a digital team and influencing marketing effectiveness across the organisation.

What will you be doing?
- The Global Head of Digital Marketing is accountable for strategically planning always on and campaign marketing activity, working together with Brand Engagement, Strategic Communications, and Fundraising to implement the Growth, Wildlife and Food Systems Strategies.
- This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the Global Digital and Data Strategy alongside the Global Head of Digital Delivery & Experience
- The role holder will be accountable for managing the Digital Content Manager and their team for delivering effective content across all World Animal Protection International and Latin American markets
- Strategically plan the International and LATAM Digital Marketing Strategy, using Brand and Programme Priorities to influence digital marketing campaigns and activities
- Develop a global digital KPIs framework, collaborating and educating senior leadership on metrics, data, and performance to drive brand awareness, engagement, and fundraising
- Build a community of best practice amongst senior leadership to connect Global Brand and Programme Campaigns with localised needs
- Champion data led decision making through being the Senior Leadership’s resource as the Digital Marketing expert – using data and insight to demonstrate ROI of marketing spend and performance using audience insight
- Experience of creating ambitious digital marketing strategies, using data and insight to guide Brand, Programme and Fundraising marketing activity across multiple teams, cultures, and locations.
- Strong digital marketing understanding of the core channels: PPC, SEO, Social, CRM, CRO.
- Good understanding of UX and UI and user behaviour, as well as knowledge of best practice in web journeys and email communications.
- Understanding and experience of a wide range of MarTech platforms, with a basic understanding of their technical implementation and functionality.
