As a Global Brand Marketing Operations Specialist , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Supporting the Global Brand Team by leveraging end-to-end project management expertise for the execution of concurrent Brand campaigns, events, and business-sponsored projects where project ownership resides with multiple stakeholders
  • Leading the development of project plans by leveraging project management tools and enabling real-time visibility and tracking across Brand initiatives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, meet strategic objectives, and fall within approved scope and budget parameters
  • Acting as key liaison with agency partners and cross-functional teams in the management and coordination of project timelines, budgets, dependencies, role clarity, deliverables, and issue resolution to ensure project quality and success
  • Leading and/or contributing to continuous business process improvement efforts to help streamline and standardize overarching Brand team and individual project workflows, communication, and resource efficiencies
  • Implementing process optimizations for several large, complex projects, enabling seamless execution from the initial planning stages and development through final delivery or launch, while driving alignment among cross-functional teams
  • Managing Corporate Brand asset library in compliance with 3M Digital Asset Management policies and systems, and operating as key point of contact for all Corporate Brand-developed creative assets; including but not limited to responding to asset requests, tracking usage rights and renewals (e.g., Brand team asset librarian for DAMs (Celum/Adobe) and Brand team site owner for Brand Central and SharePoint sites)
  • Supporting the creation, translation, and execution of campaign assets for priority areas and countries via global asset toolkit; confirming country-level campaign commitments and go-to-market plans
  • Leading large cross-functional team meetings with demonstrated confidence, and scheduling and facilitating a variety of weekly meetings, including project kick-offs, creative approvals, and issue resolution; capturing and sharing meeting recaps, including key decisions and next steps; supporting and facilitating bi-monthly Global Brand Meetings with Area Leaders by scheduling meetings and defining meeting agendas
  • Managing Brand team budget forecast, day-to-day management, and leadership updates, with input from Brand leads on project-specific budgets, including SAP training and management, and supporting project-specific budget needs (SOWs, PO creation, invoice submissions, etc.)
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience working with brand management, marketing, or advertising teams in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Minimum of five (5) experience working with collaborative project tools for timeline development, project tracking and status, budget tracking and detail, document sharing, and real-time team
  • communication in a private, public, government or military environment
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Demonstrated experience managing concurrent integrated marketing campaigns that require extensive and effective cross-functional, intra-agency, and stakeholder management. Campaign management experience must be comprehensive, including comfort and familiarity with multi-agency management, and a variety of media platforms and channels.
  • Hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and highly accountable self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects and demands.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to resolve project issues using sound, data-driven judgement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and the proven ability to build and foster strong relationships within teams, across departments and with external partners.
  • Strong project and process leadership – comfortable establishing and leading processes to ensure teams and projects stay organized and on track.
  • Ability to grasp big picture strategy and executional detail, while anticipating the downstream impact of project challenges and obstacles; approaches project obstacles with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset and an unwavering “can-do” attitude that rallies team members to move work forward.
  • CPG background or experience a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Creative full-service agency experience a plus.
