Comic Relief has an in-house production team creating content for both our own digital and social media channels and for broadcast. We have several premier edit suites and a large archive of content. This role is to support the day to day running of those edits and managing the archive as well as managing kit and camera equipment.

- Main point of contact for the internal edit suites to include day to day running, troubleshooting errors and system upgrades
- Holding day to day relationship with Support Partners (our external edit support contractors)
- Maintaining relationship and liaising with CR internal IT support function with regards to the edits and infrastructure
- Supporting editors (both in house and/or freelance out of house) as needed
- Daily edit and archive storage and media managing workflow
- Ingesting media, pulling clips and sharing links
- Supporting Content and Digital Content team accessing footage, pulling archive and preparing timelines or small edits
- Supporting Production with footage requests and footage sales/licensing
- Supporting Production with deliverables in and out from/to CR/BBC/Production Companies
- Managing our Vimeo/YouTube showcases
- Managing the kit room and all camera, sound, lighting equipment, hard drives and travel equipment – servicing and repairs, buying/replacing items of kit as needed
- Managing an inventory and booking in/out system
- Supporting with possible introduction of new DAM system (data asset management)
- Good understanding of all stages of production, with a particularly keen interest and knowledge in post-production and the edit
- Technical skills, Premier experience and confident with rushes and archive systems a real plus
- Super organised and innate desire to keep systems up to date whilst keeping attention to detail
- Multi-tasking: actively progressing multiple tasks at any one time
- Clear communication: liaising with team heads or project leads, providing regular updates on progress or challenges that need overcoming
- Use own initiative: offering solutions to challenges or bringing fresh ideas to the table
