Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Digital Content Supply Chain and Operations to lead and optimize the content lifecycle ecosystem for our growing Ecommerce business. In this newly created role, you will oversee and build a team, and drive the end-to-end management of digital content—from planning and creation to syndication, distribution, and performance monitoring. Your expertise in digital content operations, project management, and cutting-edge technologies will be critical in scaling our content processes across a multi-brand, multi-region organization.

1. Ecommerce Content Operations and Optimization:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Digital Content Supply Chain and Operations to lead and optimize the content lifecycle ecosystem for our growing Ecommerce business. In this newly created role, you will oversee and build a team, and drive the end-to-end management of digital content—from planning and creation to syndication, distribution, and performance monitoring. Your expertise in digital content operations, project management, and cutting-edge technologies will be critical in scaling our content processes across a multi-brand, multi-region organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecommerce Content Operations and Optimization:
- Oversee the entire content operations lifecycle, including planning, creation (in collaboration with Creative), syndication, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability across platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and DTC channels.
- Partner with the Ecommerce Analytics team to define and track KPIs, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize content performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in content workflows to reduce time-to-market while maintaining brand consistency and meeting platform-specific requirements.
- Lead the integration and optimization of PIM and DAM systems into content workflows to streamline asset management and ensure seamless delivery.
- Identify, implement, and optimize technology solutions (e.g., PIM, DAM, CMS, syndication, and analytics tools) to enhance content operations and minimize inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement scalable, automated processes to manage content creation, approvals, and distribution.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in digital content operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for content production, digital asset management, and product information systems.
- Foster strong collaboration with marketing, creative, IT, and sales teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of content strategies.
- Cultivate a solutions-oriented culture that drives innovation and partnership across stakeholders.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, platform standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining accuracy and consistency across channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates in response to changes in products, pricing, or platform policies.
- Lead initiatives to scale content operations effectively, focusing on automation, improved workflows, and capacity-building strategies.
- Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in content processes, implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital content operations, Ecommerce platforms, and digital content management systems (PIM, DAM, CMS). Proven expertise in a large consumer product company with multi-brand and multi-region operations.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams, with experience leading cross-functional global teams in marketing, creative, IT, and sales.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking and analyzing content performance through data-driven KPIs and actionable insights.
- Technical Acumen: Hands-on experience with content technology solutions and a strong understanding of artificial intelligence tools for content creation.
- Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to execution. Ability to balance high-level strategy with actionable plans and avoid analysis paralysis.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, build partnerships, and gain alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in leading large-scale digital or Ecommerce content operations within a global CPG or durable goods organization is highly preferred.
