Reporting to the Global Digital Project Leader, the Digital Project Manager will be dedicated to and accountable for the Digital and Consumer Experience implementation plan within the overall corporate strategy. The incumbent will, through project management, provide leadership on internal and external partner work. They will work with product managers to develop a strategy, define KPIs, establish and deploy the program’s internal communications and ensure the project is delivered on time, on specs and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a results-oriented mindset and strong digital strategic experience, with a deep understanding of the marketing technology stack. The candidate should be at ease with acronyms like DAM, PIM, CX/UX/UI and CMS and be familiar with the steps of website creation. If this interests you, read on.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the Global Project Leader, develop, define and implement management best practices and methods
  • Track progress (team/project/production support), provide guidance on project initiatives and give project stakeholders status reports on a regular basis, ensuring proper communication between project collaborators
  • Collaborate on day-to-day affairs with a multifunctional team: digital product ownership, UI/UX, development, integration and other related areas
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time, on specs and on budget
  • Define and monitor departmental KPIs (team velocity, budget management)
  • Motivate, educate and engage the business team
  • Understand the program’s impact and oversee change management
  • Close projects (report, post-mortem, etc.)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 6 or more years of experience in digital project management roles
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Project plan, timeline, and budget management)
  • Experience with website development life cycle
  • Experience with Agile methods
  • Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Business-oriented – able to work with people from different sectors, take a pedagogical approach and communicate technical and business concepts to all types of audiences
  • Able to make decisions quickly in a constantly changing environment and demonstrate a capacity for innovation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Hard-working and dependable
  • Able to draft documents that are clear and well-structured
  • Keen sense of observation
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
  • Extensive team integration and collaboration skills
  • Good at solving problems and persuading others
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use plain language to explain complex technologies and their benefits
  • Leadership qualities, with a focus on building a positive work environment and motivating the project team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, meeting facilitation and team-building techniques
  • Skilled at analysis and synthesis
  • Familiarity with LMS and CRM an asset
