Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the local marketing team in developing digital marketing campaigns and translating existing marketing campaigns into digital communication that complements other forms of campaign collateral.  He provides and supports the creation of digital content that is engaging and persuasive across various digital channels to drive visitors supporting conversion of prospects.


  • Expertise in implementations covering Marketing Cloud, inclusive of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions, Contact management.
  • Working with various mar-tech tools (e.g. marketing cloud, digital asset managers, tag managers, analytics platforms, etc.) and developing solutions that make the most of the existing technology ecosystem.
  • Creates consistent themes, messaging, and branding in all communication touch points,
  • Liaises with the media, vendors, and internal sales and product teams.
  • Content creation, and the ability to decide the needs of various channels and to coordinate and execute the best possible formats for each.
  • Tracks projects, manages budgets and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support local and global marketing team in ongoing digital efforts and marketing projects as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field required, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and five (5) years of relevant work experience and related certifications.
  • At least three years of related experience required, preferably with a focus on salesforce marketing cloud and related product services, as well as proven experience with common CMS, DAM, marketing automation and CRM Systems.
  • The candidate should have a strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media standards and best practices, as well as recent trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories are preferred.
  • The candidate Must have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and organize/complete multiple projects efficiently with strong attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.

  • Preferred Certifications: Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant

  • Ability to work independently.
  • A creative thinker with a developed understanding of the need to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
  • An aptitude for content creation, and the ability to decide the needs of various channels and to coordinate and execute the best possible formats for each.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations.
