Digital Image Production Specialist (Hybrid)

Who we’re looking for (overview): A motivated, talented digital image specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be passionate about file organization, adhering to standards, and be well-versed in image retouching with Adobe Photoshop and file management and organization. This position is a hybrid role working both from home and from the office in Plymouth, MA, as needed.

What you’ll do (big-picture responsibilities):

  • Edit a high volume of product images (studio, lifestyle, private label, and third party) for use on various digital and print channels under tight and fluid deadlines
  • Act as the day-to-day administrator for the Digital Asset Management tool by following established procedures and conventions for naming, saving, and archiving assets, as well as fielding image questions and requests from Designers, Marketers, and other channel experts
  • Co-manage all website photography, including new product and updates
  • Assist with packing and preparations for all studio and lifestyle video and photoshoots
  • Assist with photo and video shoots on location and in-studio as necessary
  • Research, purchase, and license images from third parties, as requested by designers and partners
  • Take creative direction from Directors/Managers to achieve desired vision in our imagery
How you’ll do it (skills):

  • Familiarity with DAM metadata and taxonomy
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and the willingness to learn techniques from co-workers
  • Understanding of photography and photo editing software including file formats and terminology and the willingness to stay up to date with industry standards and techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and being highly organized are both essential skills for success
  • Good time- and project-management skills with the flexibility to both self-manage and work as part of a team within a very dynamic environment
  • Ability to keep calm and operate at a high-level within high stress situations
  • Have the sense to plan ahead and be proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How you’ve done it before (experience + qualifications):

  • Horse experience and knowledge a huge plus, but not required
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Adobe Photoshop
  • Interest and experience with digital asset management platforms – bonus points if you have experience with SiteCore Content Hub
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Capture One is a plus!
