The Opportunity

As Digital Experience Manager you will lead the day-to-day management of Amica’s public-facing website(s), landing pages and digital marketing experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, content creators and broader marketing team, and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring our site and digital experiences are engaging, user-friendly, accessible and secure. This role will require in-depth technical knowledge balanced with a customer-centric approach in the delivery of digital experiences. This role is a 12 month contract.

What you will be doing

SEO & Content

  • Responsible for driving organic traffic to website, through the planning and execution of SEO, digital content and UX strategies.
  • Lead the strategic planning of SEO roadmap, KPIs, initiatives and priorities - including design and implementation of testing strategies, tracking, analysis, results reporting and recommendations.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize existing content, competitor analysis, identify new opportunities and provide input to content strategy.
  • Guide the content development process between cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and develop new traffic-driving opportunities i.e. landing pages to increase reach, customer acquisition and sales.
Website Management

  • Manage day-to-day content updates, page builds, and section redesigns as needed and requested by internal stakeholders. Ensure content conforms to a variety of best practices such as SEO, accessibility, etc.
  • Responsible for developing user stories, requirements, and completing user acceptance testing.
  • Develop, prioritize and execute roadmap of longer-term strategic website enhancements and immediate tactical improvements i.e. UX, CX, development backlog.
  • Managing and working with web development partner to design and develop front-end and back-end web architectures and integrations and maintain relevant hosting & infrastructure environments not limited to development, staging/test and production.
  • Optimize page load speeds, debug pages, and fix broken links or images.
  • Maintain integrations with other digital platforms & systems i.e. Eloqua, DAM, enterprise search tools, etc.
  • Work with other stakeholders to conduct regular content audits to keep content fresh and compliant
  • Responsible for managing the budget related to website maintenance, development and support.

  • Build and nurture good but constructive relationships with cross functional teams (Sales, Operations, People Development, etc.)
  • Work with external partners, agencies and consultants to engage required expertise and direction in developing and/or implementing plans
Change management, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts  

What we’re looking for

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with an enterprise CMS platform, with preference for Sitecore or an enterprise level CMS i.e. Adobe
  • 5+ years of experience with SEM/SEO
  • University degree from a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Professional working experience with multi-channel digital marketing or advertising campaigns on either a client-side role or agency/service provider.
  • Strong HTML knowledge and web development proficiency and CSS
  • Solid understanding of direct marketing principles and strategy.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with time-management skills. 
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and technologies, ability to communicate with developers.
  • Must possess strong organizational and project management skills, proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to work independently.  Flexibility is key as priorities and deadlines change.
  • Excellent communication skills and will be confident in working with people from across the business to present and explain the reasoning behind decisions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, critical thinker.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, required to work with a national team
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG)
  • Experience working with enterprise level digital asset management systems
