Summary

The Digital Asset Specialist works closely with the Senior Manager of the Sitecore Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management system to ensure high levels of data quality, user adoption, and overall program success.

The role is responsible for ensuring the correct creative content and product data is gathered, ingested, and tagged in the DAM and PIM system, and subsequently supports the syndication of accurate content to e-retailers. The specialist will work closely with our internal and external creative agencies, brand managers, digital marketing team and content distributors, ensuring data requirements are met and assets are successfully moved through the required workflows. The specialist will manage product asset update projects to ensure product assets reflect current packaging.

This role will report to the senior manager of digital assets and will require strong organizational skills to engage with multiple project stakeholders, track progress, report on findings, raise and mitigate risks, and manage logistical requests. The role requires someone who is well organized and highly structured with significant attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Load assets into the system, organize, and perform general asset maintenance and management, as well as manage associate issues, and curate assets in the digital asset management system.
  • Ensure that product data is properly associated with digital assets.
  • Perform digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, provide oversight and direction to the asset workflows, and ensure alignment with the marketing and brand teams, as well as 3rd party agencies.
  • Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by keeping abreast of industry best practices.
  • Gather user feedback on system performance and efficacy.
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Digital Assets in the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities, focusing on product data and content integration and syndication, streamlining operations, and maintaining best practices.
  • Employ and enhance automation of asset ingest, tagging and syndication/distribution.
  • Implement taxonomy and metadata vocabulary changes.
  • Facilitate and manage product asset updates, working with regulatory, legal, creative services, digital content management and more to ensure product assets align with in-market packaging.
  • Audit product assets across the digital shelf to ensure assets are live and accurate.
Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DAM, PIM, or similar technologies such as WCMS
  • Experience with metadata management and/or library science principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to track activity and progress across multiple projects
Desired Education

Undergrad in marketing, library science, or related field.
