- Tech Forward Mindset – You will be taking care of the most valuable files for multiple brands, utilizing a dedicated platform, so functional area expertise with an innovative teaching mindset is paramount.
- Analytical thinking – You will be looking after thousands of files at any given time, so analytical thinking to determine the most efficient and logical way to organize, store, and access assets is critical as you collect information and develop processes for assets.
- Project management – This is a highly collaborative role with masses of information being shared between different people and departments – both internal and external. This means you’ll often be juggling multiple projects at once and should have the skills to do so with ease.

- Strong communication skills – This is a must-have in any management role, and digital asset management is no exception. As a significant cross functional collaborator – both internal and external – effective communication is essential.
- Flexibility – An ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure are essential skills since projects, campaigns and business objectives will constantly updating and changes can happen rapidly.
- Patience – No one in the organization will be as familiar with your systems and processes as you are. Wholly understanding this and harnessing patience with team members who need a little extra time getting familiar with all the tools available will be to your benefit.
- Acquiring, organizing, manipulating and publishing assets for the enterprise by partnering closely with new & existing customers, suppliers & brands to ensure seamless transition of assets.
- Executing content loads and mass asset updates.

- Performing daily health checks which includes: asset status, system and database logs for any issues, verify all visual assets and data are synced and available, etc.
- Keeping up to date on current and road mapped DAM features, functionality, and terminology to continuously improve workflows.
- Performing technical troubleshooting between systems relating to role, ensuring assets are backed up to avoid file loss and tracking/monitoring the security of files.
