You will play a vital role in supporting the Creative Studio Digital Assets Manager (DAM) by overseeing the storage, organisation, and management of digital assets at British Airways. Your work will ensure assets are easy to access, securely stored, and compliant with licensing and copyright regulations
What You’ll Do:
- Support the DAM in maintaining accurate and well-organised digital assets, ensuring they are catalogued and tagged for optimal searchability and application.
- Maintain version control, ensuring the most up-to-date asset versions are accessible and accurately tracked.
- Conduct regular audits on digital assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with licensing and copyright regulations.
- Conduct regular metadata audit to ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to daily requests for image, video sourcing, and uploads from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Creative Studio team and external agencies to source images from third-party stock libraries.
- Train team members and new users on how to access, navigate, upload, and download digital assets, promoting best practices.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows in the digital asset supply chain for better efficiency and accessibility.
- Generate reports on asset usage, identifying patterns and areas for optimisation.
- Troubleshoot any system issues and provide support to users facing access or file format problems.
- A proactive and structured approach with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- A creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate asset management.
- An adaptable and agile attitude, ready to tackle challenges with a can-do spirit.
- Proven experience as a metadata cataloguer, managing digital assets within a DAM system.
- Proficiency with software tools related to planning and briefing, with Adobe Workfront experience being desirable.
- Prior experience working within a studio environment or creative team.
- Knowledge of production workflows and creative processes, complemented by problem-solving skills.
