Digital Asset Manager – Video Production

In this role, you’ll be the master of organization, working closely with our production and studio teams to ensure that all assets – from footage to images to music – are properly categorized and delivered to the right destinations. We understand that speed is often of the essence, so we need someone with lightning-fast asset locating skills, ensuring that team members and enterprise partners can access what they need in the blink of an eye.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strive to add value in any task you’re assigned with a customer-first mindset
  • Ingest assets from on-location or studio and prepare for post-production team
  • Categorize and tag metadata to footage DAM / MAM platforms
  • Organize, prepare and record all physical media as required
  • Assist developing new media management policies, procedures and workflows
  • Coordinate intake and delivery of assets with external partners
  • Move projects to and from archives as needed
  • Update asset statuses in all required platforms
  • Share assets as required with other enterprise teams and external partners
  • Maintain assets contributed to other enterprise DAMs
  • Work with other enterprise partners to improve DAM experience
  • Ensure all required licenses, releases, expirations and other documentation are correctly attached to assets
  • Research and recommend new technologies and trends in asset management
  • Coordinate with Studio Engineer/ Studio Staff as needed
  • Track and update workstream progress in team project management application
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience in digital asset management
  • Demonstrate understanding of digital asset preservation standards and best practices
  • Understanding of database administration
  • Experience conducting or overseeing a digital asset inventory using related tools
  • Extensive knowledge of digital formats (image, audio, video, object, text) and best practices for their documentation and care
  • Ability to execute projects quickly under tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand/interpret client asset requests
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively as part of a team and execute independently
  • Highly organized, able to immediately assist team members’ requests
  • Make safeguarding data a top priority
  • Willingness to stay current with advances and trends in media management
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Offer creative solutions to complex media requests
Preferred Qualifications:  

  • General knowledge of live production, video and music editing, and/or compositing
  • Experience with video network storage systems
  • Experience with AWS S3 or other cloud storage platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
