Job Summary

AmeriLife is seeking a highly motivated individual to support in the build and management of our NEW digital asset management system. The Digital Asset Manager will report to the Director of Creative Operations and will serve as the primary manager of all content within the digital asset management system.

This individual should value precision, organization and structure with a strong ability build and manage data and systems. This candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, strong bias-to-action, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for importing and managing assets within the DAM based on system governance and business requirements. They will work directly with the marketing teams to establish and support the ingestion, day-to-day management and sharing of digital assets across the enterprise.

Job Specific Duties

  • Take an active role in the building and implementation of the digital asset management system, supporting with business requirement intake and process flow development
  • Establish digital asset management governance and provide guidance and enforcement to the enterprise on correct usage of the DAM
  • Ensure that file names for digital assets are descriptive, accurate, consistent, and reflective of how the assets relate to the other files in the system
  • Upon ingestion, tag digital assets with relevant details— such as the creation date, file name, file type, and file category – according to consistent methodology
  • Collect and manage digital assets so that they are functional and readily accessible
  • Ensure that relevant and up-to-date versions of digital marketing assets are easily searchable and that only authorized personnel can change access permissions
  • Achieve uniformity of content usage by applying timestamps and automating content expiration dates
  • Monitor access and use of digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, compliance adherence and copyrights
  • Automate the deletion of published content upon license expiration
  • Conduct consistent asset audits to ensure adherence to DAM guidelines
  • Analyze and report regularly on metrics that pertain to demographics of access, usage, and lifecycle of digital assets, including statistics on audience engagement
  • Collaborate with enterprise to continuously improve to deliver quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work directly with business partners (mainly product and services marketers) to document their needs in creating new assets and leverage existing
  • Establish and track KPIs and metrics for all marketing investments to provide visibility into the effectiveness, efficiency, and attribution associated with marketing efforts, and enable greater return on investment
  • Measure effectiveness by collecting stakeholder and partner feedback, prioritizing recommendations, and supporting optimization efforts
  • Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
  • Ensure collaboration and communication between the various departments; i.e. finance, ops, IT, distribution
Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in asset production and management
  • Experience managing a digital asset management platform (Bynder preferred)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly, with enthusiasm, and persuasion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that is client service-oriented
  • Knowledge of insurance industry (preferred)
