The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for curating, organizing, documenting, cataloging and managing all digital assets within the Adobe Experience Manager (DAM) platform. This is a highly collaborative role responsible not only for the digital assets themselves, but for how other employees within the company and outside vendors access, use and interact with the assets. Additionally, this role will lead governance meetings and working groups to manage metadata, taxonomy, and workflows.

As a member of the Marketing Operations team the Digital Asset Manager, plays a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by managing the implementation of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) system. You’ll work to design and implement processes and procedures within the AEM tool to design, manage and catalogue content in support of the Retirement Solutions Division.

Goals and Responsibilities

  • Audit assets, metadata, and DAM workflow, as well as provide ideas on how to improve metadata and workflows
  • Tag metadata
  • Develop and maintain user education and training documentation, as well as conduct training
  • Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Assist with vendor management
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics team to report on DAM key performance indicators and offer ideas for operational efficiencies
Typical Qualifications:          

  • 5+ years of DAM and CMS experience
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Adobe AEM DAM required
  • Experience with Adobe, HTML/CSS, Java, Linux, or Apache required
  • Accustomed to working independently with minimal supervision
