The Digital Asset Manager is the first point of contact for Beats Marketing teams and agency partners to archive new assets during post production as well as guide users to current and historic Beats creative. They will be responsible for managing and tagging assets, collaborating with Business Affairs on usage rights, enhancing and managing new DAM platform and serve as Privacy Champion for Beats Marketing. Reports to Head of Creative Production.

- The Digital Asset Manager role is a full-time position with a hybrid of in-office days for collaboration and remote days for focused execution. Business hours are generally standard but may require occasional evenings or weekends to support post production.
- Compile and maintain a detailed inventory of existing electronic and print assets for uploading and tagging, including backlog of un-archived assets via servers or drives
- Properly select and annotate a large volume of media into the digital asset management system to facilitate retrieval and use in production
- Develop cross-functional relationships with Marketing, IS&T and agency partners
- Intake of all new assets after productions and act as point person for all final assets
- Partner with BA on content rights and usage and act as point of contact for inquiries
- Assist in training business team members, in-house creative team and external partners on proper usage and best practices of the DAM system
- Partner with IS&T and other relevant LOBs providing Beats user requirements for new DAM platform including any necessary integrations or upgrades
- Serve as Beats Marketing Privacy Champion overseeing privacy compliance requirements and audits of business platforms on ongoing basis
- 5+ years of experience in asset management and Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Broad knowledge of library tools, systems and resources in corporate organizations
- Solid tech background with strong familiarity of motion and static creative assets
- Experienced in one or more digital asset management technologies
- Demonstrated familiarity with metadata standards and classifying systems
- Ability to design systems for tagging images and cataloging taxonomy
- Knowledge of creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Frame IO
- In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital and video)
- Working knowledge of media usage rights terminology
- Problem solving, research and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated collaborative and professional work ethic
- Willingness to be flexible and respond to constantly evolving priorities
