The Digital Asset Manager leads a team that is responsible for trafficking and archiving digital photo, video, and other multimedia content to all internal stakeholders, retailers, and agency partners. This is all in an effort to support global product launches and Americas marketing across the Weber portfolio of products. In this role, you will work closely with the creative team and external production partners to traffic photo and video assets for feedback and approval during the post-production process as well as ensure that all final assets are uploaded accurately and catalogued appropriately for efficient searchability and accessibility in our Digital Asset Management system (DAM). The team is also responsible for content deployment to all global Weber.com sites and all US-based retailers, both online and in-store. The ideal candidate for this role is a master of details who thrives in bringing order to chaos and has a passion for developing and implementing processes that streamline operations.

- Lead team of ~4 digital asset specialists and retouchers
- Develop and maintain postproduction timelines to meet asset need by dates for creative execution and stakeholder deployment
- Coordinate photo and video reviews with internal creative team, stakeholders and external production partners and studios.
- Assign retouching tasks to the Retoucher based on project priorities and deadlines.
- Ensure feedback and input is received in complete and timely manner
- Mitigate delays and resolve roadblocks to meet deadlines
- Provide status updates and schedule changes to Content Producer and Creative Operations Manager
- Work closely with content creators, project managers and other stakeholders to understand the specific requirements and metadata associated with each digital asset, including keywords, descriptions, and rights information
- Tag files accurately and consistently for easy searchability and accessibility and upload to Digital Asset Management System (DAM)
- Identify and resolve issues related to digital asset quality.
- Monitor and manage usage rights and licensing agreements for digital assets, ensuring compliance with copyright laws and regulations
- Develop and manage the lifecycle of digital assets, including version control, rights management, and archival processes.
- Stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends in digital asset management and make recommendations for process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Provide training and support to team members on digital asset management tools and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in library science, commerce, creative technologies or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience working with Digital Asset Management systems
- Strong knowledge of post-production workflows and photo and video file formats
- Experience with metadata standards and taxonomy development preferred.
- Proficiency in digital asset management tools and project management software (e.g., Brandfolder, Workfront, etc.).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of project management principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes of digital assets effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
