The Kidde Residential Fire business is seeking a Digital Asset Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Creative Operations, the Digital Asset Manager will partner cross-functionally with the Marketing, Design, IT, Product, and Trade/Sales teams as well as external vendors to support and manage digital assets within the existing DAM platform, Bynder. You will expand and improve knowledge management, asset access, data governance, and team member trainings. You will dive into current processes and tools, and think big about ways to scale, streamline, and continuously improve experiences. You have a broad understanding of DAM requirements and capabilities as well as experience leveraging the tool to optimize business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business systems analysis and design, including workflows, data flows, processes, and business requirements to support complex DAM projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ongoing DAM user interface optimization/enhancements according to best practices and user feedback.
  • Actively collaborate with IT teams to ensure standards are met, systems are secure, and proper controls are implemented.
  • Serve as the point person to work with DAM vendors and development partners.
  • Continue to organize the DAM through metadata creation and file organization.
  • Ensure proper tagging and data quality.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Brand Marketing, and other partner teams to validate that digital content reflects the right product attributes.
  • Promote the continued use of the Digital Asset Management system throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 + years of hands-on experience in Digital Asset Management systems, or an Associate’s Degree with 6 + years of direct experience in Digital Asset Management systems.
  • 3 + years of experience in creating and managing taxonomy and metadata.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) Certification.
  • Previous experience with the Bynder platform strongly preferred.
  • Experience with best practices for maintaining the connection between Bynder DAM and a PIM (InRiver) preferred.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of various common file formats and their purposes (PNG, JPG, SVG, MP4, etc).
  • Prior experience working with Marketing, Creative, Brand, and Product Teams.
  • Problem-solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues, including but not limited to production break-fixes, outages, short and long-term activities.
  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Solid verbal and written communicator, with good interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ongoing efforts to stay abreast of trends in digital asset management and professional development in the field.
  • 1 + years of working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
