It’s bringing centuries of history into an updated digital age

It's finding innovative ways to make progress. And it's the satisfaction of working with a collection of international importance. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Royal Collection Trust is responsible for the care and preservation of one of the largest and most significant art collections in the world, comprising over a million objects spread across 15 Royal and former residences in the UK. We are passionate about making this extraordinary collection accessible to the public through exhibitions, publications, loans, and educational activities.

  • Working closely with our digital team, you’ll provide technical advice to support integrations with existing systems.
  • You’ll manage the end-to-end project to ensure the successful transition of all our digital files, co-ordinating with colleagues across the organisation to meet deadlines and specifications.
  • Ensuring continued success, you’ll provide training to users and conduct a full audit of digital assets, working towards consolidating them into a single repository.
About you

Essential Criteria:

  • With previous experience in a similar role, you will have a relevant technical qualification, and significant experience in DAM system management or digital image library management.
  • A deep understanding of cataloguing and metadata protocols is required, together with experience of developing DAM workflows.
  • Bringing specialist expertise, you’ll know how to review and improve existing systems and recommend improvements drawing on best practice.
  • With project management experience, you can prepare and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing.
  • A great communicator used to collaborating with technical and non-technical audiences, you can prepare high quality documentation and briefings as well as design and deliver training.
  • With strong stakeholder management skills, you will be comfortable collaborating effectively with people at all levels, but you can also work independently with initiative.
