Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Specialist at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the digital asset management platform to the standards required by KSCVC and NASA.
- Identify ways to organize and manage the entire digital asset life cycle from creation to distribution, production, and archiving.
- Demonstrate understanding of legal issues around asset use, and divise creative solutions that serve the business and meet legal requirements.
- Provide updates and reports on the use and health of the DAM to direct supervisor, upper management, and NASA.
- Participate in larger DAM enterprise direction, solutions, and upgrades.
- Conduct user training for both internal and external audiences.
- Support outside vendors and contractors working within the KSCVC digital asset management system.
- Degree or certification in Library or Information Sciences, or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of DAM technology, enterprise taxonomy, and metadata.
- Knowledge of governance and development user training.
- Digital asset management systems experience: use of Cortex is a plus.
- Develop training for internal and external users. Provide support for same groups.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to apply sound judgement while working independently within tight time lines.
