Your Role at Batesville:
As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Digital Product Data Manager in maintaining day to day operations of the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will be a DAM specialist with experience working in similar systems and a familiarity working with photo assets, documents, and digital asset meta data. This position can be based in a virtual setting.
What You’ll Do:
As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Digital Product Data Manager in maintaining day to day operations of the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will be a DAM specialist with experience working in similar systems and a familiarity working with photo assets, documents, and digital asset meta data. This position can be based in a virtual setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for helping work with the Digital Product Data Manager within the DAM system ensuring an accurate asset library and integrity of digital assets within the DAM.
- Perform system audits and reviews against downstream sites to ensure assets are feeding correctly and are up to date.
- Assist with system updates and releases across environments for new features and functionality to the DAM system including testing and process mapping.
- Ensure adherence to rules for asset loads, data quality, and workflow within the DAM environment.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with the Digital Product Data Manager on data governance, user permissions, mandatory fields, and other DAM system settings.
- Assist in mapping out processes and workflows within the DAM system and keeping SOPs up to date.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum of 2+ years related experience and/or training with an emphasis in product data management.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with DAM or similar software solutions.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce landscape and all aspects of product catalog development.
- Strong understanding of image and document management and working with PNG, PSD, and PDF files.
- Excel and Word proficiencies.
- Experience with Bynder or similar DAM systems.
- Possess and demonstrate strong logic and critical problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or associate degree from a university or Technical College.
