Digital Asset Management Librarian/Administrator

Reporting to the Marketing Platform Administration operational capabilities leader, this team member will play a key role focused on delivering user support, driving adoption, and representing the voice of the user for the Digital Asset Management (DAM) technology platform. The team works closely with partners to onboard users, address/solve problems, consult on platform features/functions, maintain libraries, train and drive adoption of features, functions and new processes, and proactively represent and drive a focus on the cross-platform user experience.

Key responsibilities of this BSC4 role:

  • Develop and continue to refine the user support model in collaboration with internal business partners and the vendors, and actively participate in supporting users of an Enterprise function.
  • Ensure that enterprise-wide solutions are fully enabled as new groups migrate on to the platform inclusive of aligning roles and privileges based on access requests; user onboarding and training.
  • Support the key support functions for Agency, Marketing, and other partners, inclusive of librarian and template management, supporting adherence to process, driving adoption, providing advanced help to address issues raised by tool users and identifying best practices that should be adopted to enhance user experience.
  • Lead feedback forums to support user adoption, inform user based (UX) strategy development and a develop a queue of ideas and requests
  • Play a support role with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support a continuous improvement approach with focus on operational controls and risk management
  • Develop and deliver training/communications
  • Support team members to develop relationship with Vendor partners, and co-lead routine business review functions with the Technology and other capability team leaders.
  • Ensure controls are met and develop new controls around managing the DAM platform and its users
  • Key competencies for this role include championing change, influencing, relationship building, partnership, communication, planning/analysis. To be successful in this role, the team member needs to proactively bring ideas to partners, build enthusiasm for the application and usage, and have empathy for users going through change (while also inspiring change).
The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Be a change agent, with both a strong technology background and a grounding in user experience, bring user-centered view to adoption, helping partners to see the possibilities, encourage and actively drive change so that partners (customers) adopt to new ways of working.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between Platform Administration, Technology and business users to ensure all requirements are met and issues are resolved.
  • Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Act as a liaison between users, platform admin, and technical teams by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Other Desired Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in business or technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Marketing technology platforms especially in tools like Open Text, and/or Aprimo DAM
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering transformative change
  • Prior experience with supporting a tool or program with a large user base
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify business improvement opportunities and drive completion of tasks, projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively guide and mentor team of Business Systems Consultants
  • Highly comfortable in learning new systems and interfaces in a fast-paced environment
  • Mac Platform application troubleshooting experience
  • Financial services industry experience and/or Creative Agency experience
