The mission of the Product Data department is to meticulously curate, manage and distribute accurate product information, ensuring a seamless experience for all of our business partners. Fostering informed decision-making and elevating the overall integrity of the Moe’s brand.
Reporting to the Digital Asset Supervisor, the Product Data intern will play a key role in leveraging image processing techniques to categorize and manage digital assets efficiently. This internship provides an opportunity to work with leading technologies in digital asset organization and contribute to the seamless functioning of our Digital Asset Management system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Digital Asset Supervisor, the Product Data intern will play a key role in leveraging image processing techniques to categorize and manage digital assets efficiently. This internship provides an opportunity to work with leading technologies in digital asset organization and contribute to the seamless functioning of our Digital Asset Management system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize image processing techniques to classify and categorize different types of images.
- Work on developing algorithms to automatically identify and tag images based on content.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the Digital Asset Management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper tagging, metadata entry, and cataloging of digital assets.
- Contribute to the automation of processes within the DAM system to streamline workflows.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in digital asset retrieval and usage.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure data integrity within the DAM system.
- Work on quality assurance tasks to validate the accuracy of image classifications and metadata.
- Respond to requests related to product data from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge.
- Prepare regular reports on the status, quality, and distribution of product data.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with image processing techniques and tools.
- Basic understanding of Digital Asset Management concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Organized, methodical and structured, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
