The Role
The DAM Executive will be responsible for maintaining Bensons imagery and assets as part of the overall creative studio function; focusing on production of product assets from managing the briefing and approval process with external agencies, working cross-functionally with the Bensons Commercial, Marketing and Digital teams to produce distinctive, aspirational and accurate lifestyle imagery for online and offline communications.
Working across a mix of software to produce, edit and upload imagery to the internal systems - this role requires a broad range of skills with a mix of data and spreadsheet skills, strong organisational and communication skills along with a good creative eye.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the briefing, styling and amends process of all Bensons lifestyle imagery, working with buyers and the external CGI or photography agencies to ensure aspirational images with technically correct product features.
- Oversee the approval process for cut-outs and animations – ensuring quality and consistency throughout.
- Regular review of trends and styling, working with buyers and agencies to ensure future trends are captured in all imagery and assets. Attending seminars and/or webinars is key to keep styling trends relevant and up to date.
- Develop an understanding of CGI & photography and working closely with the broader marketing team and agencies to maintain high quality imagery and efficiencies. Some travel to agencies may therefore be required.
- Attend meetings for new product development and launches, regular cross-functional team sessions to assist with the planning and management of assets. Ensure that the timelines are managed appropriately for any new product launches.
- Manage all quotes, invoices, and POs, ensuring costs are in line with pre-agreed rates, and helping to keep costs within budget.
- Manage the online library of digital assets to ensure all product folders are organised and accessible to internal departments and reflected on the in-house PIM system.
- Work with the Studio Graphics team to ensure they have all imagery needed for website development, POS creation and offline product material
- Line management accountability of the DAM assistant - 121’s, learning and development support
- Responsible for image delivery schedule - adhere to a clear timeline for image development, to ensure projects are kept on track.
- Responsible for managing any requests for imagery from internal departments, including creative edits required for social or marketing work.
- Support the DAM assistants in the audit and sourcing of missing assets which are required to support trading requirements and manage the removal of all discontinued lines so that the library is always up to date.
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Powerpoint
- Skills/interest in interior design and styling
- Excellent skills in excel and data management
- Experience with team management and delegation
- Experience with project management
- Excellent eye for detail and colour
- Any previous experience with CGI or photography would be a bonus.
