We are currently seeking a Digital Asset Management Assistant to support our DAM operations team on a contract basis (1099) from December 2023 through May 2024. This person will be the point person between digital asset creation and brand portal usage. They will provide quality control of digital asset content, metadata, and other related asset properties and will work in collaboration with creative services, digital services, marketing, and sales groups.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
We are looking for a candidate who has or is working towards a degree in Library Science. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of experience working in ad agencies or corporate in-house departments in digital asset management systems and tools. Knowledge of production management, digital photography workflows or related positions is a plus.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily coordination with internal clients and photo studio team to file and distribute approved product assets to the Amer DAM
- Maintain and organize assets with appropriate naming convention from the SOP and using metadata to create a searchable library. Provide production support and ensure that all images are using standardized guidelines and templates before going onto the brand portal
- Work with internal clients to assist with campaign and asset distribution on the DAM to ensure that the assets are available and searchable to internal and external users for sell-in or sell-through purposes
- Fulfill miscellaneous image requests from marketing and sales, creative services, international locations, and accounts as needed
- Assist with DAM specific technical troubleshooting as questions or concerns arise

Other qualifications include:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented person with above average interpersonal skills and a positive attitude for dealing with people at all levels in the organization and outside vendors
- Requires an above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe CS graphics related software applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Working knowledge in digital asset management and project management systems from previous in-house or agency experience
- Understands and can ensure effective metadata tagging, file structure and searchability
