SUMMARY

The Digital Asset Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This position contributes to our strategic goals and will focus on video asset management (organization, distribution and storage) by ensuring the seamless day-to-day access to our digital assets. In this role, you will be integral in the quality-assurance of assets across various brands and products. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of asset organization and distribution, ensuring that our internal clients receive exceptional service and support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter, tag and perform quality assurance of digital assets for distribution platforms.
  • Audit files and metadata entries for completeness and proper organization.
  • Follow established procedures to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to and investigate end-user inquiries and requests related to digital assets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to share and learn industry best practices.
  • Be an active team player, supporting clear guidelines and goals to achieve common objectives and standardization.
  • Collaborate with team members to generate new ideas and enhance existing programs.
  • Assist in problem-solving and adapting processes based on project requirements and scope changes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Digital Asset Management is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
SKILLS

  • Oral & Written Communications:  Exceptional, written, and oral communication skills. Communicates well one on one, in small groups and larger presentations, including external public speaking. Writes clear, precise, well-organized documents using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and wording
  • Teamwork:  Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team; experience working with cross functional teams
  • Problem Solving and Analysis: Identifies significant problems and opportunities. Analyzes problems in depth and achieves effective resolution. Determines root causes for issues and solves for them, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Customer Focus: Monitors client satisfaction (internal or external). Establishes partner relationship with clients. Visible and accessible to clients.
  • Time Management:  Ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to pivot based on project requirements and changes in scope.
TECHNICAL SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, in addition to the skills in the Education/Experience noted above an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the following below:

  • Premiere
  • Airtable
  • Wrike
  • Digital Asset Management systems
  • Ability to work with different DBMS platforms and adapt to varying project requirements.
  • Willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changing database technologies and methodologies.
