As part of the Arc’teryx Brand Marketing Team, the Digital Asset Co-Op Student will provide support in the migration and curation of digital assets onto the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and Digital Archive. You will provide key reporting, archival, administrative and communicative support for the Brand Archivist and Digital Asset and Systems Manager.

The Digital Asset Management and Digital Archive teams are the key to preserving the rich visual history of the Arc’teryx brand. The teams core function is asset centralization promoting cross functional collaboration and creativity throughout the organization. We are responsible for creating an ecosystem that is a single source of truth to provide teams the ability to outreach and promote the Arc’teryx brand through market penetration.

If you were a Digital Asset Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Working directly with the DAM team to track brand marketing related timelines and deliveries related to DAM enrichment
- Create reporting on asset ingestion and enrichment statistics to the DAM
- Supporting the DAM team in taking meeting minutes and contributing to conversation on team calls relating to work product
- Supporting the Brand Archivist in cataloging and tracking product and gear and providing reporting
- Supporting the Brand Archivist in the relocating of product and gear from a variety of locations to support asset retention and curation
- Supporting the DAM and Archive team in the shipping and tracking of archivable product/gear and hard drives
- You will develop a strong understanding of Arc’teryx metadata standards and enrichment methods which can be adopted as a transferable skill across multiple industries
- You will build relationships and understanding of the cross functional ecosystem related to DAM and Archive and the end user impact
- You are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in Marketing, Finance, Broadcasting or a related field from an accredited university or college
- You have 1+ years of experience working in a DAM related role, librarian, content management, media, or similar industry
- You have knowledge in cloud storage systems such as BOX and asset management platforms
- You are proficient in creating documentation and presentation deck development for stakeholders
- You have a strong understanding of a wide range digital media types
- You have a strong knowledge of metadata application, taxonomy and governance
- You are a natural networker and enjoy collaborating with others
- You are highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong eye for valuable reporting analytics
- You have strong written and verbal communication with ability to write templated responses to stakeholders
