The Digital Asset Management (DAM) team is working to become the single source of truth for Novartis for all content ideation, creation, production, management and sharing with users across the world in just three clicks. We are in a unique position to develop an innovative, end-to-end content hub, working closely with our innovating product team; in our vision, DAM is just the starting point. Your role will be critical, ensuring our taxonomy can scale globally in an elegant fashion, and our processes and policies will grow as the scope of our content expands.

This project is part of the Enterprise Operations Simplification (eOS) initiative and aims to improve our content delivery with a focus on simplification, time to market and cost effectiveness.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Own the DAM taxonomy and metadata model and governance
- Own day-to-day asset migration and tagging
- Help drive future content type guidelines & lifecycles
- Help implement modular content standards and approach
- Manage migration of assets into the system and drive improvements in DAM content workflows
- Manage relationships with the system integrator to complete content management tasks (e.g. initial tagging, permissions, metadata changes, retirement to cold storage)
- Triage feature requests and work with DAM Director to prioritize backlog
- Work with local stakeholders to ensure smooth input of content and appropriate user access & training as DAM rolls out to new locales
- Identify opportunities for automation
Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 3-5 years of experience working with a global enterprise DAM
- Experience with global taxonomy and metadata governance
- Experience with managing asset-level global rights and permissions
- Experience with campaign design and creative development including the integrated channel tagging requirements through file packaging and delivery
- Experience working with and leading through modular content implementation and rights managed assets
