We are looking for a DAM Librarian to support our team with metadata management, corporate compliance, and intellectual property concerns. You will oversee the DAM/MAM queue, manage asset archiving with advanced metadata entry, and ensure efficient tracking and retrieval of assets. Additionally, you will assist with asset purchases, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with the team to enhance workflows and the DAM application. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to file management are key for this role.

- Support team and corporation in issues related to metadata and corporate compliance, information retention, protection and intellectual property concerns.
- Monitor the DAM/MAM queue; manage incoming requests for digital assets.
- Manage the archiving of assets into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) application, including advanced metadata entry.
- Assist in asset purchases and searches.
- Track assets, allowing easy and timely access in the DAM application.
- Document and enforce processes for file management of assets into the DAM application.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions, collaborate with team to improve the application and workflow processes.
- BA/BS
- 3+ years supporting a DAM.
- Proficient knowledge of photo production process, different types of still and video file formats.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience working with metadata, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies.
- Familiarity with DAM systems.
- Copyright knowledge related to media use in a corporate environment.
- Someone with good customer service skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
