Our client in Eagan/St. Paul, MN is looking for a skilled Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian to join their team!
As a DAM Librarian, you will be responsible for coordinating and moving digital assets within the DAM and will be responsible for metadata integrity, adhering to file naming conventions and governance, distributing assets to various systems, and working with the users of the DAM to ensure the overall integrity of the assets within the DAM.
Candidates must be local to Eagan/St. Paul, MN to be considered as this will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
As a DAM Librarian, you will be responsible for coordinating and moving digital assets within the DAM and will be responsible for metadata integrity, adhering to file naming conventions and governance, distributing assets to various systems, and working with the users of the DAM to ensure the overall integrity of the assets within the DAM.

Responsibilities:
- Work with end users of the DAM to assist in their user experience.
- Move and tag large amounts of digital assets within the DAM.
- Manage internal company creative assets.
- Maintain metadata Integrity.
- File naming conventions.
- Adhere to governance and rules.
- Manage distribution of assets to various systems.
- Enforce best practices.
- Communicate concerns and issues.
- Make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with members from other groups outside Brand Marketing including Sales, Customer Experience and Digital Teams.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- 1-3 years of experience with enterprise-grade Digital Asset Management (DAM) such as Adobe, Bynder, North Plains, Widen, Telescope.
- 1-3 years of experience with tagging and cataloging assets.
- Excellent understanding of Digital Asset Management including metadata management, tagging, taxonomy, and governance.
- In-depth understanding of taxonomy development and metadata standards.
- Proficient at using a MAC Computer.
- Must be able to work with InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator files
- In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital, audio and video).
- Basic knowledge of Rights Management.
- Adobe Assets DAM experience a plus.
- Adobe AEM platform knowledge a plus.
- Workfront platform experience a plus.
- Seismic platform experience a plus.
- E-commerce delivery for both print-on-demand and physical inventory experience a plus.
