Description

We are looking for Project Managers with extensive Digital Asset Management experience to manage client DAM implementations.

Experience

  • 5-10 years delivering large scale Digital Asset Management solutions.
  • In-depth experience of implementing complex Digital Asset Supply Chains involving the integration of a wide array of different marketing technologies using APIs and third party connectors.
  • Understanding of basic web development techniques (HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.) as well as cloud-based infrastructures such as CDNs and scaling digital asset delivery.
  • Managing teams of engineers and developers.
  • Skilled at devising project risk management plans such as dealing with potential delays, scope changes and technical risks.
  • A good understanding of taxonomies and metadata management concepts.
  • Proven experience in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of (and proven experience with) one of the following DAM system technologies: OpenText Media Management, Adobe AEM, Aprimo or Nuxeo .
  • Awareness of MDM, PIM, ERP, ECM and WCM technologies and their role within the wider digital asset supply chain.
Responsibilities

  • Translating management requirements into projects briefs.
  • Experience within large, complex organisations, multiple vendors, both onsite and remote teams.
  • Client facing skills delivering project progress presentations and written summaries to senior management.
  • Advising on best practice and innovative solutions for resolving DAM integration problems
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Writing requirements specifications and working closely with BAs as well as solution architects.
  • Daily interactions and progress reporting with BAs, internal product managers, marketing managers, brand managers and digital asset managers.
  • Project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Devising metadata schema and liaising with subject experts.
  • Defining permissions models and rights management workflows.
  • Mapping data flows to/from the DAM to third party solutions, especially metadata sourced from PIM, MDM and ERP systems.
  • Vendor performance reviews.
  • Overseeing UATs and other testing procedures.
Requirements

  • Experience within large, complex organisations, multiple vendors, both onsite and remote teams.
  • Hands-on technical delivery and consultative skills.  Someone who can effortlessly switch between in-depth technical subjects to higher level management concerns.
  • A self-starter who is happy to work independently as well as fit into a team.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines while keeping calm and organised.
  • An inquisitive attitude, always exploring new and innovative solutions to typical (and not so typical) DAM implementation challenges.
  • Attention to detail with a goal oriented approach to progressing tasks.
  • Tenaciously minded with a can-do attitude and ability to lead by example.
  • Can self-manage and make decisions as needed.
  • Identifying, escalating, managing and resolving issues as they arrive.
  • Lead team meetings and ensure a strong ethos of project governance.
  • Microsoft Office and familiarity with common remote project delivery tools (Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Asana, JIRA, Monday.com etc.).

Please note: these are contract/temporary roles with an expected duration of 6+ months.
