Position Summary:
The role of the Digital Asset Management Librarian is to increase the Organization's capacity to ingest, appraise, organize, store, protect, catalog, and provide access to digital materials (digitized and born-digital).

The role of the Digital Asset Management Librarian is to increase the Organization's capacity to ingest, appraise, organize, store, protect, catalog, and provide access to digital materials (digitized and born-digital).
Essential Job Functions:
- Identify unique ways to organize and manage the entire digital asset life cycle from creation to distribution, production, and archiving
- Ensure that all types of digital content are properly organized and tagged and accessible within Monster Media and RAIN
- Assist in the refinement and training of our Al models of RAIN
- Assist with the creation of case studies/user stories and reporting/user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and prioritize requirements and workflow
- Participate in the development and maintenance of asset metadata models incorporating industry standards unique requirements
- Develop a thorough understanding of user needs and how these differ to suggest solutions that work for individual audiences
- Clearly present products of work and reporting to Digital Asset Manager or Supervisor Support outside vendors and contractors working with the DAM
- Provide excellent service and support to those using the DAM, going above and beyond to arrange, describe, preserve, and provide access to digital assets
- Any additional duties as assigned by manager

- Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- In possession of articulate communication skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team
- Fanatical about creating order from disorder
- Hands-on technical experience with library systems, content management systems (CMSs), or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, or research
- Understands the critical importance of timelines
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products
- Familiarity with standard office software
