Job Overview:
As the Corporate Knowledge Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and dissemination of critical content and digital assets across the company's various platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to capture, store, organize, tag, and distribute various content types and media assets. By effectively managing content and digital assets, you will contribute to enhancing audience engagement the organization's overall strategic goals.

As the Corporate Knowledge Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and dissemination of critical content and digital assets across the company's various platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to capture, store, organize, tag, and distribute various content types and media assets. By effectively managing content and digital assets, you will contribute to enhancing audience engagement the organization's overall strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content producers, editors, business analysts and technical staff, to develop and execute a comprehensive corporate content management strategy.
- Identify and prioritize content types and formats to ensure consistency and searchability.
- Implement and maintain a robust Digital Asset Management system to organize, tag, and store media assets, ensuring easy retrieval and reuse for future productions.
- Work with IT and media technology teams to optimize DAM system capabilities and integrate it into existing production workflows.
- Organize and curate content in a systematic and accessible manner.
- Apply metadata standards and classification systems to enhance the discoverability and retrieval of corporate media assets.
- Develop metadata standards and protocols for tagging and cataloging media assets, enabling efficient search and retrieval of relevant content.
- Enforce consistent metadata practices across the organization to maintain a unified and standardized content library.
- Collaborate with legal and rights management teams to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and copyrights for all media assets.
- Implement processes to track and manage the rights associated with specific content.
- Facilitate collaboration between content creators, producers, and editorial teams to streamline content workflows and maximize efficiency.
- Introduce tools and systems to support real-time collaboration on content creation and editing.
- Bachelor's degree in library science, media studies, communications, information science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in content management or digital asset management
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems and content management platforms used in the media industry.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in metadata tagging and content categorization practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform content strategy.
- Librarian skills, such as information organization, cataloging, and classification.
