Reporting to the Lead, Brand Team Capabilities in Customer Excellence, the Content Manager is responsible for embedding processes and best practices governing the design, development, management and tagging of Digital Content developed locally, ensuring consistency, global content reuse (as possible) and increase in content velocity. In addition, they are responsible for guidance on optimized content for channel and customer use cases, as a key component to an advanced customer experience. This role includes the following:

Oversight of the Hybrid Content Production Model  

This role will manage the roll out of the local Hybrid Production Model ensuring adoption of new processes and tools as they become available, in line with the global roadmap. The role will oversee processes and services related to Content Production seeking optimal utilization and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Stakeholder engagement and oversight of all activities related to onboarding of local brand teams into Hybrid Content Production Model
  • Ensure adoption of Content Authoring Tool
  • Monitor Content Production performance metrics and liaise with global teams as needed
  • Communication of Content standards and guides for Creative Agencies
  • Local management of content templates developed for Local Brand Teams within Content Authoring Tool
  • Seeking continuous improvement in Content Development processes
  • Local roll out of DAM library as part of the Hybrid Content Production Model ensuring asset tagging is defined allowing easy searchability to increate re-use of global assets
 Key Message Model

  • This role requires knowledge of content related data and insights generated for Global and Local Brands teams. One of the core elements is data generated from Key Message Tagging and therefore this role will be responsible for:
  • Liaising with Global and Local Teams ensuring the Key Message Model is implemented consistently across all content types that gets created
  • Monitor Key Message metrics ensuring adoption across brands
  • Seek continuous improvement of the Key Message Model based on the evolving internal and external factors
  • Be local Subject Matter Expert for KMM and provide training and advice for Local Brand Teams
  • Document Business requirements and liaise with BTS colleagues/Global for system enhancements  
Modular Content

  • Achieve organizational awareness and understanding of Modular content
  • Drive modular content readiness by ensuring key enablers such as the Hybrid Content Production Model, Core Claims Library and Tier-Based Risk Approval have the right structures and processes in place locally, across AbbVie’s content ecosystem as the global capabilities are developed
Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in content development and management, experience in management of Content Digital Factory  
  • Knowledge of Veeva Vault incl. DAM
  • Experience  with agencies of record / 3rd party development of content
  • Ability to understand business requirements and articulate potential solutions
  • Experience fulfilling customer needs and managing expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of life sciences content management principles and taxonomies
  • Experience with the Canadian  life sciences regulated environment, including specifically PAAB processes
  • Strong influencing skills
