Position Summary:
The Content Coordinator is the product and content management expert on the marketing team. This role is responsible for organizing product photography and videos for use across marketing channels and platforms, uploading and coordinating product content on the B2B and B2C websites, and ensuring product descriptions and specifications are accurate.
This position supports and contributes to the Ten Thousand Villages mission by:
Ensuring an excellent customer experience by keeping all content (copy and images) organized, accurate, and up to date.
Position Duties/Responsibilities:
The Content Coordinator is the product and content management expert on the marketing team. This role is responsible for organizing product photography and videos for use across marketing channels and platforms, uploading and coordinating product content on the B2B and B2C websites, and ensuring product descriptions and specifications are accurate.

Ensuring an excellent customer experience by keeping all content (copy and images) organized, accurate, and up to date.
Position Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing product descriptions and new product naming.
- Work with merchandising team to ensure all information is entered and correct for each new item release.
- Proofread product descriptions and ensure specifications are correct.
- Proof tags for new and existing products.
- Compile new item talking points for stores.
- Name image files properly and upload images to Shopify sites.
- Keep marketing team aware of new item status changes, alerting team of status changes or needs.
- Serve as the main contact for anyone internally or externally looking for content (copy, descriptions or images).
- Manage web requests and make updates to Shopify.
- Manage digital asset management (DAM) system by properly naming images with SKU number, uploading all product images in timely manner, adding meta data tagging to new images, and working through back log of product images.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience with editing, writing, and proofreading
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Organizing digital content and metadata tagging
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to manage projects independently
