This is an exciting time to join the University of St Andrews Libraries & Museums as Collections Data & Discovery Manager. The Unit is currently at the planning stages of an ambitious development of its digital services, including the procurement of a new Library Management System. The role holder will take an active part in the development and implementation of this project.
We are seeking to appoint an organised, highly methodical Team Lead to ensure the effective management and quality control of Libraries & Museums collections metadata.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a library environment, managing the day-to-day delivery of team services, have an expert knowledge of current and emerging metadata standards and a desire to explore new technologies to enhance access and visibility of our resources.
