CGI Asset Manager

The 3D Operations Team is seeking a delivery focused, solutions-oriented, energetic collaborator to optimize assets within our external vendor platform and contribute to the overall 3D asset management process. In this role, you will work with 3D creative and production teams, project management and cybrarian teams to ensure 3D asset management is efficient, helpful, and scalable. You will consult with these cross-functional teams to develop and implement an asset management strategy that serves the creative engine and facilitates continuity between the external vendor portal and the internal marketing DAM.

The successful candidate will enjoy learning a new platform, working with business partners to discover needs and challenges, and digging into the platform to identify and recommend processes to streamline and scale workflows. This candidate will be professional and courteous, goal driven, and excels at creating order to prioritize next steps from a wide variety of input in a quickly evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily operations of ingesting, tagging, organizing, and general asset maintenance and management in the platform.
• Responsible for implementing metadata strategy and keyword taxonomy across system to maximize search functionality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage vendor to develop resolutions.
• Collect feedback on platform functionality via periodic platform review sessions; prioritize feedback, recommend improvements, and communicate requests to external partners.
• Own recommendations and roadmap for enhanced feature rollouts.
• Develop training materials, train/onboard new users on how to use assets properly, arrange training sessions for new features when available.
• Own processes for in-platform asset creation, tracking and export to internal marketing DAM.
• Monthly audit of the DAM to ensure cleanliness.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Identify opportunities and recommend processes needed to scale program.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of digital asset management experience working with an enterprise-level DAM system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to take instructions, self-motivated and self-driven.
• Ideal candidates will have some experience with content management platforms or a proven track record of learning new digital tools quickly.
• Familiarity with WorkFront and Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
• Knowledge of 3D filetypes and programs preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, Certifications, or equivalent working experience in a creative field.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in asset management or platform management.
• Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot platform issues.
• Familiarity with customer-facing digital platforms and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Knowledge of digital platforms and systems.
