Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

The Brand Post-Production and Asset Manager plans and manages the workflow and execution of all photo/video post-production projects and deliverables. You will be responsible for resourcing internal and external post-production teams, compiling deliverables lists, managing timelines, asset management, tagging, and project delivery communications. You will partner closely with the production, operations and creative teams as well as regional teams and cross-functional partners across the business, to deliver projects.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Brand Operations team is a collaborative group of Producers, Operators and Project Managers who are responsible for defining and evolving processes, and leading workflow and the end-to-end production of ecommerce content, brand and product campaigns and projects. Working in close partnership with Brand Creative teams, we lead the creation of best-in-class photo and video content to populate our global channels.

If you were the Brand Post-Production and Asset Manager now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Creating, executing and overseeing an effective workflow and process for managing all aspects of photo/video post-production and deliverables
  • Working with the Production and Project Management teams to build detailed production plans that capture all project deliverables, timelines and resource assignments for all types of projects (Campaigns, ecomm, digital marketing, paid media, social, etc)
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of post-production vendors, partners and freelancers including sound mixing, colour editing and music licensing
  • Managing and ensuring accurate metadata, tagging, and categorization for all assets
  • Managing department Tech Stack for existing and new tools including roll-out and exploration
  • Create file management infrastructure (folder structure, naming conventions, tags, access management)
  • Forecasting the need and managing the accrual of appropriate legal documents such as talent, location, footage, and music usage rights/licensing
  • Managing relationships, contracts and project timelines with external agencies, production partners and freelancers
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Compiling manuals and training tools for on-boarding new team members and external partners to ensure that Brand Production Standards are adhered to – including creative guidelines, data management and security, naming conventions, file formats, metadata, etc
  • Leading the exploration and requirements gathering for our future DAM platform
Are you our next Brand Post-Production and Asset Manager?

  • You have 3+ years related experience in Post-Production management
  • You are proficient in project management and resource tracking systems
  • You have strong time management and exceptional organizational skills, with the proven ability to prioritize a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines
  • You are resourceful with strong creative problem-solving skills
  • You are a superior communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have demonstrated success building strong relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • You have proven interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • You are able to multi-task and constantly re-prioritize
  • You have expert understanding of photo and video formats and knowledge of post-production and editing processes and time needed
  • You have experience with Digital Asset Management systems
  • You have strong knowledge of metadata and taxonomy application, and best practices for system navigation and content search and retrieval
  • You are knowledgeable on scaling DAM systems, workflow improvement and user adoption strategies
  • You have experience delivering technical training and support
