We’re seeking a Brand Digital Asset Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Brand Strategy Manager, you will help support the daily running and development of our Brand department, collaborating closely with our Brand Identity, Strategy, Editorial, Creative, and Partnerships functions. This crucial role requires taking charge of organising, managing, and optimising our rapidly growing collection of digital assets.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Bicester location and our office in Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do

Digital Asset Management & Metadata: Implement and maintain a digital asset management (DAM) system to organise, store, and retrieve digital assets efficiently. Ensure that all assets are easily accessible and properly tagged with accurate metadata.

Workflow Coordination: Plan, prioritise, and coordinate all DAM and content upload workstreams. Ensure projects are on track and deadlines are met. Update project planning tools, tracking and reporting on project statuses.

Brand Consistency: Monitor the use of digital assets across all channels to ensure consistency with brand guidelines. Work closely with the Brand team to update and refine assets as needed.

Brand Guidelines & Style Guides: Work closely with the wider Brand team to keep our brand guidelines & assets up to date and relevant.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain key relationships both internally and externally with our agency partners.

Licensing and Rights Management: Manage licensing agreements and ensure that all digital assets are used in compliance with copyright laws and licensing terms. Track asset usage rights and expiration dates.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the DAM processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and support the evolving needs of the brand.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the use of the DAM system and best practices for digital asset management. Develop training materials and guidelines as needed.

Reporting: Generate regular reports on asset usage, storage capacity, and system performance. Provide insights and recommendations to optimise the DAM system.

Who you are

  • Experienced as a Digital Asset Manager in a global creative or brand environment
  • Strong knowledge of DAM systems, metadata standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid understanding of branding and the importance of maintaining brand consistency across digital channels
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards.
  • Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing agreements, and digital rights management.
