The Digital Asset Associate works closing with the DAM vendor/tool provider, Sr. Graphic Services Manager, and with all end users before, during, and after implementation of the Digital Asset Management system. The role will require strong organizational skills to engage with multiple project stakeholders, track progress, report on findings, raise and mitigate risks, and manage ongoing requests. The Digital Asset Associate must have strong analytical capabilities, strong program management experience, and strong critical thinking skills to access program risks, identify solutions, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders across Graphic Services, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Ecommerce/Omni-channels. The role requires an incumbent who is well organized and highly structured with significate attention to detail. Role also requires an incumbent who is outgoing, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the Digital space and across all functions. The role requires a leader who is forward-thinking and passionate about driving transformation and one who believes in a culture of transparency and trust, and who is open to learning new ideas outside current scope of knowledge.
The Digital Asset Associate will collaborate with key members of the business to create the digital asset management strategy and vision for Lactalis USA, Inc. which will ultimately support the company’s wider objectives and goals. This position will be responsible for curating, organizing, documenting, cataloging, and managing all digital assets – in other words, all digital capital including images, videos, written content, audio, testimonials, reviews, and more. The DAM is not only responsible for the digital assets themselves, but also for how company employees and external partners can access, use, and interact with these assets. This is a highly collaborative function that will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Graphic Service teams.

From your EXPERTISE to ours
- Lead the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities, focusing on product data and content integration and syndication, streamlining operations, and maintaining best practices
- Provide leadership on assigned project initiatives, such as synergistic goals for zone and global partnerships, photo rights management, and syndicated attributes and information.
- Prioritize incoming workflow, develop training materials, and make sure internal and external users have streamlined experiences. Design and implement taxonomy and metadata schemas following industry best practices; creating requirements and ensuring user and partner needs are met.
- Coordinate program support for Graphic Services, Marketing, Sales, and E-Commerce teams.
- Discover ways to enhance automation of asset ingest, tagging and syndication/distribution.
- Load assets into the system, organize, and perform general asset maintenance and management, as well as manage associate issues, and curate assets in the digital asset management system.
- Ensure that product data is properly associated with digital assets and transferred to the PIM (working closely with the E-Commerce team for product renderings).
- Perform digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, provide oversight and direction to the asset workflows, and ensure alignment with the marketing and brand teams, as well as 3rd party agencies.
- Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by keeping abreast of industry best practices.
- Develop more skills and expertise in digital asset curation and syndication by being current with prevailing technologies in the digital world, and so be able to contribute to the evolution of new content formats.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (brand standards, corporate standards, and packaging standards).

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Digital Design, Digital Content Production, Digital Asset Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 years of proven experience in digital content production or, ideally, digital asset management systems in relevant industries.
- Experience with asset curation, with at least 2 years’ experience in DAM administration or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of DAM, metadata taxonomy, and SEO best practices, strategy principles and concepts for assets and digital content
- Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Experience Manager and other content management systems
- Sound experience in data governance, standards, and process development
- Solid ability to work with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics or other tools
- Strong communications skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving strategic business decisions
- Profound project management skills
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple projects and priorities while managing workflow in a deadline driven and service-focused environment.
