Job Description
As an Associate Digital Asset Manager, you work closely with the Senior DAM Manager/DAM Team, Art, Print and Production, Creatives, Client Partnership Group, Client and Agency Partners on assets generation, asset and metadata information management, organization & distribution, and implementation of best practices for workflows and digital asset management, that provide efficiencies, increased productivity and transparency for agency and Client.
Success for this position is measured by excellent communication, collaboration, and management skills, the high level of organization/management of assets during all stages of production in all media, servicing of client/agency needs, and ability to proactively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues that arise.

As an Associate Digital Asset Manager, you work closely with the Senior DAM Manager/DAM Team, Art, Print and Production, Creatives, Client Partnership Group, Client and Agency Partners on assets generation, asset and metadata information management, organization & distribution, and implementation of best practices for workflows and digital asset management, that provide efficiencies, increased productivity and transparency for agency and Client.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for supporting production by assigning shot numbers, creating shot sheets, checking usage rights, linking existing assets to jobs via FileMaker Pro program, called SPARK.
- Collects original art assets, organizes and tags with metadata in the Saatchi’s DAM system
- Works with Art Producers and Business Affairs department to ensure accurate usage rights for all still, audio, and video files.
- Gathers, ingests, and distributes digital assets to various Production Teams and Vendors
- Ensures quality control of all Final Art and Ad deliverables for Saatchi DAM by working closely with Digital, Art & Print Production and their Vendors
- Provides support to client, agency partners, and Saatchi DAM users by fulfilling asset requests and assists and guides on searches if necessary
- Collaborates and assists with asset management for Client’s Digital Asset Management platform, by gathering and preparing assets from production, and working closely with the Client Partnership Group (CPG Team) on the metadata sheets, in order to upload and administer assets on Toyota’s DAM system
- Catalog and file hard drives, including high security hard drives.
- Works closely with the DAM team to find ways to improve production workflows
- Works closely with Senior DAM Manager and the DAM team to ensure DAM policies and procedures are current with industry best practices
- Assists Senior DAM Manager with development/maintenance of DAM procedure documentation and training materials
- Assists with DAM training sessions for departments and new users
- Work with IT to registers internal users to the DAM system based on permissions
- Actively embraces agency vision to create and protect transformational ideas for our clients
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate experience should include:
- Thorough knowledge of production with 2+ years experience in a fast-paced creative environment or agency setting, working in digital asset management.
- Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines
- Expert in Excel/Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, familiar with FileMaker Pro and all types of file formats, including video formats. Mac proficiency, high level of technological literacy, and understanding of DAM operation.

- Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions, performing tasks, collaborating with teams, and interacting with clients

- Strong working knowledge and understanding the language of usage rights
- Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary
