The Associate Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in the management and growth of the Maternity Brands -Motherhood®, A Pea in the Pod®, Destination Maternity® and Totes® & Isotoner® brands.

Merchandising:
The Associate Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in the management and growth of the Maternity Brands -Motherhood®, A Pea in the Pod®, Destination Maternity® and Totes® & Isotoner® brands.

Here’s what you will do here
Merchandising:
- Assist with building and maintenance of the Merchandising Calendar and collaborate with licensees to in assortment development, product approvals, sample procurement and organization, and go to market assets such as linelists and linesheets.
- Liase with licensees to obtain deliverables
- Execute & Analyze business reporting for ecomm and retail businesses
- Assist with development of Assortment Strategy
- Maintain Store Distribution Lists
- Maintain Resource & Contact Lists
- Build load sheets for pass off to ecomm team
- Support Amazon business
- Collaborate and liase with internal teams such as marketing and PR teams in on needs to support brand strategy and growth (ie. linesheets, samples, pricing, launch dates).
- Procure and enter monthly, quarterly actuals and projections in relevant corporate files; analyze data
- Provide trademark proof of usage and maintain reporting
- Develop & maintain knowledge of the brands, including on-line and in-store research
- Execute market research online and instore to identify opportunities and positioning within the market
- Assist with execution of Market, Trend & Competitive Research to identify opportunities create presentations
- Research prospective retail opportunities
- Support build out and development of pitch/prospecting decks
- Assist on brand management projects as assigned.
- Maintain brand documents
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of experience in retail merchandising or brand management; Amazon experience a plus
- Very strong computer skills: Microsoft Office including Excel a must, Adobe Suite a plus
- Must be a self-starter who takes initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills - ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives
- Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and creative environment
- Strong attention to detail
