Johnson & Johnson MedTech is currently recruiting for an Associate Director Promotional Integrity- WW Content Strategy & Design. This position is based primarily in Raritan, NJ or Cincinnati, OH. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the company for candidates located in the United States or AMEA.

Role Description

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is looking for a willing to take action, innovative marketer who is passionate about advancing the way content is crafted, shared, curated, and experienced across J&J Med Tech. The focus of this position is not on WHAT is built, but HOW is it built. We are looking for an individual who enjoys re-envisioning how work is done and is motivated by realizing operational efficiencies that bring great value to the business! This role is a critical leadership position on a transformation program team (program: AMP- A sset M anagement P latform). The program was developed to transform how the global organization thinks about commercial content, and the digital transformation required to enable the best and compliant digital experience for our customers. We need a marketing leader who understands that the best digital experience begins at the beginning, Content Creation . They will use their expertise in developing marketing campaigns, working with agencies, and creating content to design NEW marketing content creation process & disciplines . They will become integrated into the cross functional leadership team responsible for delivering an end-to-end asset lifecycle management process and technology solution that will become the engine for the next transformation in digital marketing globally. The goal is to increase the speed and efficacy of delivering content to our customers, promote global content sharing and reuse, and help design the next evolution of AMP.

The resulting experience will connect regional and local market partners through the create, approve, and publish phase of promotional materials, providing visibility and accountability for information accessible to our customers, and promoting global teamwork for content creation and sharing. They will work directly with channel teams & technology experts to evolve the broader DAM/Channel ecosystem, ensuring channels are integrated with the DAM and teams are using the DAM effectively.

This role will lead a small, centralized content management team (1 FTE/2-3 contractors) that will ensure the DAM (digital asset management -source system) has the best process & governance in place to ensure optimization.

The WW Associate Director Content Design & Strategy will primarily be responsible for:

  • Implement and evolve the strategy associated with the cataloging, tagging (metadata schema & taxonomies), storage, retrieval, and distribution of Johnson & Johnson MedTech creative digital assets
  • Supervise a small team of digital asset librarians in the day-to-day operations of metadata application, rights management, permission controls, and accurate distribution of global assets
  • Increase the value of the platform to our commercial organization through gaining a deep understanding of our internal customers' business strategy and workflow objectives
  • Understand how clients (internal and agency partners) are using our product to determine what features and services are the most/least valuable to their businesses and identify areas for improvement in the customer experience, including product feature adoption, use cases adoption and workflow optimization
  • Educate and facilitate accurate usage of the DAM system across all departments and regions
  • Be responsible for the JJMT SOP for content released to DAM and DAM to channel.
Qualifications

  • Minimum Education of a Bachelors degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of work experience is required
  • Proven experience in digital content development at a digital advertising agency, media, or Healthcare company
  • Experience in global marketing a PLUS.
  • Expert in handling challenges & complexities within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop broad perspective on an organization and can use that knowledge to develop new strategies and options for DAM.
  • Understand complex technical projects and can quickly learn about new technologies and solutions to lead their implementation.
  • Ability to adjust your interpersonal approach to individuals and situations as needed to effectively work with others.
  • Effectively connect with global partners with varied marketing and technical strengths.
  • Hands-on technical experience with content management solutions, or other large searchable databases used in the creation of marketing content, i.e. web pages, media, or research preferred
  • Experienced/Familiarity in SAFe Agile methodology a PLUS.
