Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Manager to join their team on a data governance initiative focused on digital image rights and asset optimization. This role involves analyzing their extensive library of over 1.5 million product and marketing images housed in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and aligning each asset with associated contractual rights stored in SharePoint.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for image quality and metadata structure, and a solid understanding of digital rights management (DRM). This is a hybrid role, with a preference for candidates in Los Angeles who can occasionally collaborate in person with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of 1.5MM digital assets in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM.
- Match images to photographer and model contracts stored as PDFs in SharePoint.
- Assess each asset's compliance with brand guidelines and digital rights standards.
- Categorize images into three buckets:
- Unusable
- Valid Rights
- Needs Rights Renewal
- Update asset metadata to reflect rights information and improve discoverability.
- Collaborate with legal and creative teams to resolve missing or unclear rights data.
- Enable API-based retrieval by ensuring metadata and tagging consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, Library Science, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in asset management or digital libraries
- 5+ years of professional experience in asset management or a related field
- Experience working with Digital Asset Management systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager
- Familiarity with image rights, usage contracts, and brand compliance
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage large datasets
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Library Science.
- Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM Assets).
- Background in photography rights management or digital content licensing.
- Experience working within brand or marketing teams on digital asset governance.
